WaterAid in Tanzania has been preparing for a visit by HRH the Prince of Wales to one of our projects in Dar Es Salaam. This visit is part of a very busy Royal tour which has taken in the Gulf and South Africa before coming to Tanzania.The day before the visit I met Herbert Kashilia - Kash - of WaterAid in Tanzania and we travelled to the site where WaterAid has installed a clean, safe water source and worked with the local community to manage it. The local water and sanitation committee manages the source. At the moment the area is calm with a few local people collecting water and paying the attendant. Tomorrow it will be a lot busier.....
